Paints expanding thickness in fire
Passive fire protectionUsed on inner and external steel constructions. During fire, cause of high temeperature, coated paint is extending its thickness (swell) creating insulation of steel from flames. This process protect structure against high temperature in some time period. Commonly used times of protection are 15, 30 and 60 minutes, marked as R15, R30 and R60.
